The Best Luxury Cars in 2022

What is the best new Luxury car to buy? This question is difficult to answer and depends a lot on what you are looking for. Some cars offer value. Others shoot great. Some try to become generalists. Others specialize in a particular aspect. Perhaps you’re looking for a super-efficient electric car, or you still need a loud-sounding V8. We are not here to judge.

Whatever your goal, connecting the best cars is more than you need. Whether it’s an established icon that has dominated the arts for decades, or a start-up taking one of the automotive product planners to take a nap, the best cars are all about doing a little more to deliver the best experience.

There are many new cars and our Gear Patrol Motors section has driven most of them. This is a reliable (albeit subjective) list of the best cars you can buy in 2022.

Best Light Truck: Ford Maverick

The Maverick isn’t the flashiest vehicle in Ford’s lineup, but it’s a new light truck that could redefine what a truck is. For the first time in a long time, this is an affordable, practical and fun newcomer. And if that wasn’t enough, the entry-level Maverick model is now the cheapest hybrid on the market in the United States.

Best Medium Truck: Toyota Tacoma

Tacoma looks better than its competitors. It looks muscular and athletic, but it doesn’t need to be forced on other manufacturers. It is simple, functional and durable. This combination is what many truck and SUV buyers want. That is why Tacoma dominates this market segment.

Best Full Size Truck: Ford F-150

It seems odd to spend money on luxury cars on a truck, but after spending a little time in one of Ford’s imposing F-150s, it almost seems logical. The F-150 is filled with all sorts of creative features, combined with its huge unique features, it’s definitely worth $80,000.

Best Heavy Truck: Ram Power Wagon

Whether you choose a well-equipped factory electric van or add the 2500 Tradesman electric van package, you’ll have plenty of trucks for your money. There is no other 3/4 ton truck that can do everything an electric truck can. Not to mention it.

Best Small SUV: Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

The Tucson Hybrid successfully fulfills its responsibilities as a compact crossover. Spacious and efficient, it transports families from point A to point B with peace of mind and safety. But unlike most other competing products, it looks amazing, feels like a premium product, and does the job while being a lot of fun to drive.

Best Small Luxury SUV: Genesis GV70

Genesis remains a luxury starter, and while the brand didn’t release its first self-driving car until 2017, and became an SUV last year, the GV70 is a bold move from a mature automaker. Not only does the GV70 offer a better price than rivals like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. It is perfect and does everything at a relatively affordable price.

Best Medium SUV: Kia Telluride

Telluride offers luxurious amenities at an affordable price. It is ahead of most of the competitors from brands that are respected in the price range. If you don’t have a lot of money to buy Lincoln Navigator or don’t really want to land, Telluride should be on your top 3 list.

Best Off-Road SUV: Ford Bronco

Bronco dared to challenge the glorious Jeep Wrangler. And Ford did the right thing. Bronco is as cool as everyone expected. Wranglers have legitimate competitors, and even if they dare to say blasphemous words, they often catch up.

Best Luxury Medium SUV: Genesis GV80

The Genesis GV80 looks unique, exotic and expensive with its bold grille, unique dual lights and premium materials. If you don’t know what you’re looking at, it looks like Bentley. It’s no coincidence that Genesis stole from the GV80’s lead designer.

Best full-frame luxury SUV: Lexus LX 600

The Toyota Land Cruiser is special, and because it’s a Land Cruiser, the LX has always been special. Not many cars can take a child to school, climb a mountain without sweating, and get the driver to drive and work with the utmost comfort.

Best Minivan: Toyota Sienna

The new Toyota Sienna looks great and offers something that most competitors (three-row minivans or SUVs) don’t have. A single vehicle provides excellent fuel economy and all-wheel drive. It’s a kind of game changer that may appeal to minivan buyers.

Best small car: Honda Civic

This new Civic is notable, not just because Honda is promoting it to educated youth like you on Twitch. The Civic offers excellent handling, exceptional value, stylish interior, and two manual transmission versions instead of one.

The best small luxury car: Genesis G70

The Genesis G70 is of great value in the luxury sports sedan market. And it’s not just a value game. With a nice looking, luxurious interior, sporty driving dynamics and a powerful engine, this engine is as good as its famous rivals.

Best midsize car: Honda Accord

Honda will no longer allow you to obtain the Accord instruction manual. But you can still get the performance and sophistication of a luxury car at a very affordable price. There’s a reason Accord created the “10 Best Cars and Drivers” list 36 times.

Best luxury midsize car: Mercedes E-Class

The E-Class has been the flagship of the Mercedes lineup of Goldilocks for decades. Want an entry-level luxury sedan with butter? A 600 horsepower van that blows fire? What about the exact average, great in itself? Class E will help you.

Best full size luxury car: Mercedes S class

SUVs and crossovers (hell, perhaps trucks) have become a de facto choice for luxury buyers these days, but how attractive it is to drive a luxury car for hundreds of miles with the new S-class steering wheel. Reminds me of. Instead of a sedan.

Best Wagon: Subaru Outback

Many cars try to combine the best car handling, SUV capabilities and practicality, but succeed at a price that is just human-accessible, like the Subaru Outback, which has the same space and power as the Subaru. There is little to do. .. inside. Many sport bikes do not have fuel economy issues.

Best sports car: Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 is more than just a reference. The current generation is an objective improvement in almost every measurable way. It is more powerful, faster, has better maneuverability, offers better passenger safety, has more advanced technology and is even more environmentally friendly than its predecessor.
