Japanese carrier NTT Docomo has officially canceled the release of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G for the Olympic Games. Samsung is officially canceling the release of the Olympic Edition as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has postponed the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The limited edition Samsung Galaxy S20+ was announced last month and was scheduled to launch in June. But according to the latest news, there will be no Olympics this year. Therefore, we will not be able to see the Olympic version of the Samsung mobile phone.

If the Tokyo 2020 Olympics had not been postponed, we would have seen another Samsung smartphone with the Olympics logo.

In terms of design and hardware specs, there are no big differences between the Galaxy S20+ and the Olympic version of the Galaxy S20+. There is only one difference, the Olympic logo on the back and the exclusive gold color.

Speaking of technical specifications, it also has the same 6.70-inch punch-hole Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. This smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.

The Galaxy S20+ smartphone runs Android 10 which will have the One UI 2.0 layer.

It comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This smartphone is powered by a 4500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

In terms of camera quality, it features a 12MP + 64MP + 12MP lens with a 10MP front camera sensor.
